How do I prepare my rabbit for surgery? Rabbits should never be fasted! No fasting is required because rabbits cannot vomit and withholding food can cause serious digestive problem. Rabbit owners should bring along some fresh greens or rabbit's favorite food to be fed throughout the day while at the clinic.
