Spay Now, Inc. is located just 7 miles east of the Bay Bridge in Grasonville, Maryland. We are an easy commute from Washington and Annapolis.

Dr. Kate Howard
Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Howard graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia in 2000. She received her bachelor's degree from Towson University. She was a registered nurse working in intensive care for 8 years before going back to school to become a veterinarian. She has worked in private practice, shelter medicine and high quality, high volume spay/neuter for several years. She has been working on the Eastern Shore for the last 5 years and decided to open her own practice in August, 2008. She lives in Grasonville with her husband and several cats.

Laura Johnson
Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Laura has been working as a veterinary assistant for 4 years. She has also worked as an adoption coordinator/office manager for a humane society. She currently lives in Grasonville with her pit bull, black lab, and two bull terriers. In her spare time she is involved in conformation (shows) with her standard bull terrier. She is also the Maryland Rescue Contact for Bull Terrier Club of America.

Nicole Killian
Veterinary Assistant

Nicole has been working with animals for 4.5 years. She started working with Animal Resource Foundation when she was 18 and has always wanted to go to vet school. She lives in Stevensville with her golden retriever, great pyrenese mix, and dachshund. In her spare time she still volunteers at ARF.
